Caribbean 2003

The ship had internet capabilities in each room.  I have my laptop with me so I will be able to update my website each day.

We departed Miami Saturday afternoon.

The itinerary is as follows:
Saturday & Sunday at sea all day

Our Ship - Explorer of the Seas - Royal Caribbean Cruise Line
1,020 Feet Long - 138,000 Tons
Passengers and crew total about 4,500
the ship is two years old

Our friend who joined us on the trip - Rosa and Klaus Nowitzky from Germany
This is the standard Life Boat Drill that all ships have the first day

Rosa and Klaus are in the cabin next to us. We are in the middle of the ship, 8 stories up.
We have individual private balconies with our rooms.

Cynthia in the gym on the ship

Pool side on the top deck. Just to give you an idea as to the size of the ship, this pool area is only about 25% of the top deck

Fun and games on deck - the horse races.

Monday Laberdee on the coast of the Haiti

Looking back at our ship as we are taken to the beach

Laberdee is a private section of beach owned by Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.  It is a beautiful swimming area.

Wednesday - Jamaica

Ocho Rios in Jamaica - Dunns Falls

A Tourist (Me)

Thursday - Stingray City at Grand Cayman Island

Taking the boat from land out to ''Stingray City''

Rosa and Klaus - Cynthia took the trip the last time we were here.
She decided to shop instead of going again.

Lots of people swimming among the stingrays.
See the stingray in the red circle. Those black dots are
all stingrays.
